🐝 Our guys are great at giving lectures in companies. Since the life inside the bees is similar to the corporate hierarchy, we can take something from the lectures to our own life and work. Would you like to invite us to your place? So read on :). However, an interesting element of the lectures is primarily getting to know the life of bees in our cities and how they cope inside “our concrete jungles”. And this is mainly thanks to the ProBee system, which not only with extended eyes, ears. Thanks to data recording, we can predict many situations that the average beekeeper solves up to a minute after 12. But we still have a lot to learn from nature and we are constantly improving the system. We will also tell you about this in lectures, which we can design for the time you need, and we will place the topic in the context of your company in terms of location and philosophy. One of the successful lectures was the one in Brumlovka, where Bees on Roofs are also located. And they are a wonderful example that bees really thrive in the middle of the city and on a high roof.
WE HAVE PREPARED AN EXPERIENCE DAY FOR CHILDREN FOR THE PANATTONI COMPANY. AND WE AND THE CHILDREN ENJOYED IT SO MUCH! AND WHEN WILL WE COME TO YOU?
During May, we prepared several experiential programs for the Panattoni company with our family beekeeping in various locations. The goal was to introduce children from nearby primary schools to bees and their role in our world in a fun and, above all, practical way. And we, the children and even the teachers had an incredible time. We have prepared several habitats so that everyone can learn about and, above all, experience the proximity of bees. And although the children may have been a little scared in the initial phase, they didn’t want to go home from the campsites at all. So how does it go? Site 1: Tour of beehives with beekeeper Aleš Under the guidance of experienced beekeeper Aleš, the children set out to look directly inside the beehive. They watched with great interest how the bees work and what their life is like inside the hive. Beekeeper Aleš showed them the individual parts of the hive and explained how bees are organized. Together they discovered the difference between a bee and a drone and some even saw the queen. Station 2: Pouring honey in a honey pot The next stop was a station where children could try pouring honey. With the help of a transparent honey pot, they saw how honey is extracted from the comb and how it tastes right after it is drawn. This hands-on experience was very fascinating for the children, and everyone took home a bottle of local honey as a souvenir at the end. Site 3: Dendrology, or fun about trees At the site dedicated to dendrology, children learned to recognize trees and shrubs. With our expert Alena, they explored different types of leaves, bark and fruit. They learned about the importance of trees for the environment and what role they play in the natural cycle. Station 4: Nectar collection competition The last but no less interesting station was the nectar collection competition. Children assumed the role of bees and competed to collect the most “nectar”. This activity was not only fun, but also quite physically demanding, and everyone together found out that the saying “diligent as a bee” really isn’t just that. Because in addition to honey in different glasses, you can also have labels made according to your wishes. 💛 And what more? You can also add wax products to the honey packages – for example, a candle or incredibly fragrant soaps🕯️🛁.
